18 Oct – 26-year-old actor Robert Pattinson just cannot stop landing roles as someone's boyfriend or lover, in spite of the drama regarding his relationship with "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2" co-star Kristen Stewart, as he has just been confirmed for "Hold On To Me". According to Collider, Robert will be playing the role of Jimmy, the love of the femme fatale's life which the film is centred on, with the latter to be played by Academy Award nominee Carey Mulligan. The film will be directed by Oscar-winning documentary director James Marsh ("Man On Wire"). Formerly titled "Nancy And Danny", the crime drama film is based on a true life account of a couple's kidnapping of their town's richest man that goes awry. When a femme fatale and her boyfriend kidnapped a wealthy local man for ransom and buried him in a box, a string of events begin to unfold that goes from worse to worst. It is not known yet who has been casted as the boyfriend involved in the kidnapping. The film was originally set to be directed by Todd Field, who now acts as its producer. Field will instead helm "The Creed of Violence", starring Christian Bale.
Meanwhile, Robert will next be seen in the conclusion to "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2", which also concludes his slate of films for 2012. In 2013, Pattinson will star opposite Guy Pearce in David Michod's near-future Australian Western, "The Rover", Werner Herzog's "Queen Of The Desert" and "Mission: Blacklist", a story of the U.S. military interrogator who discovered the location of Saddam Hussein.
