Who will be "Finding Dory"?

Dory is the star of the "Finding Nemo" sequel.

3 Apr – Disney and Pixar have finally announced "Finding Dory" as the sequel to 2003's very successful "Finding Nemo".

It was reported last year that a sequel to the animation was in the works and Albert Brooks had confirmed his return as the voice of Marlin. Now, Ellen DeGeneres has also been confirmed to be on board to return as forgetful Dory, which probably promoted the film's new focus on the Pacific regal blue tang, thanks to her popular turn in voicing the fish.

"I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time. I'm not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating "Toy Story 16"," said DeGeneres.

Ellen DeGeneres is proud to be back as Dory.

She added that the time they took was worth it as the script is fantastic and really funny with lots of heart and lots of Dory.

"Finding Dory" will take place a year after the first film and will see Marlin, Nemo and the Tank Gang returning for the film. The sequel will see Dory reuniting with her loved ones and learning about the meaning of family along the way.

"Finding Dory" may be released in 2015.
