25 Aug – Christopher Nolan's latest offering, "Tenet", is off to a promising start following its preview screenings in South Korea last weekend. The East Asian country is the first territory to screen the movie commercially, where previews were held over two days on 593 screens, as per KoBiz stats. The accumulative collection from both Saturday and Sunday sums up to USD717 thousand, with an admittance of 84,708. This places "Tenet" third on South Korea's weekend box office for 21 to 23 August 2020, behind two Korean titles that were released earlier this month: "Ok! Madam" (weekly gross USD816,702) and "Deliver Us from Evil" (weekly gross USD1,410,252). Despite the encouraging number, there is still no guarantee that the movie will continue to do well in the country since Korea is now gearing up to battle the local resurgence of COVID-19 cases.
