17 Aug – Celebrating the release of Disney/Pixar's latest animation "Up," Tropicana City Mall in Petaling Jaya was the place to be last Saturday as radio personality DJ Ean from Hitz.fm was successfully lifted up using only rubber balloons! Weighing in at 75 kg, it took a total of 910 balloons (size 2 feet) to lift the man up to about 30 feet in the air. Commenting on the experience, Ean said "I'm a man who's afraid of heights, but this was really worth it! Can you imagine being lifted up by balloons? It's crazy man." Soon it was DJ JJ's turn to be lifted up and then followed by members of the public at no charge. Plenty of "Up" movie merchandises and preview passes were given away by the Hitz.fm morning crew DJs, JJ and Ean. Aside from that, the event also ran a contest where the person with the closest guess to how many balloons it will take to lift Ean up will win a trip for two to Perth, Australia and experience a hot air balloon ride.
